A very friendly and efficient hotel. An excellent stay. I'm about to stay for my third time. Location is a nice walk (15 mins) to downtown and socially its a great area. If you like your swimming pools and posh service...go elsewhere. You are staying here because you want to enjoy the city not lounge in a room.

Stayed here for a week while looking for an apartment to rent. It's one of the cheaper options in central Beirut, and the location is great. You're literally smack in the middle of Hamra, so lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms are a bit dated, sure, but you get what you pay for. The young woman working the... More

We stayed here for 2 weeks for our trip to Lebanon in April 2012. We were looking to see the country, rather than have a hotel-based holiday, and this place was ideal. Beirut is centrally located so we could visit everywhere we wanted within Lebanon on day-trips, and it was great to have somewhere reliable to come back to. Within... More

It location is, probably, the best that this hotel has. In Downtown and near to shops, cafes, malls, and not very far of the Corniche (5-10 minutes walking).

Stayed here in the middle of September, at the beginning of my Middle East trip. Central location is very good - one can walk to a lot of different parts of the city, including Corniche [corso]. Initially, reception staff refused to check me in before the time that I indicated as an arrival time, but then after 5 minutes, changed... More

After what was a mediocre stay with pleasant staff next to a building site in sheets that made you scratch like crazy, my wife parked the car by the front door to load our bags into - what i thought was a perfectly reasonable thing to do, to then be confronted with the owner pulling up in his car screaming... My wife and I stayed here for three nights recently and thought it was great. If you're looking for luxury, keep looking, but if you want a small, clean room in a good location, the Embassy provides great value for the money. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the check in was smooth and easy. The room was on... More

I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel, the perfect place to stay to be very close to Hamra shopping street, the hotel is very clean, and the view is not bad, rooms are neat and tidy, big wardrobe, staff are very friendly and cheerful, small hotel, but very value for money, and very close to Beirut center.

Totally agree with the majority of reviews on the website. A budget option but clean and in a very good location. Hamra, where it is based, is obviously the new place to be, because just round the corner is a little street with lots of bars and hip lebanese youngsters. Personally, I did not think it was that noisy for... More
