I stayed at this hotel for two nights as a part of a group of family and friends over Easter 2009. There was a gap of around a week between my two nights here. The hotel (as with many things in Iran) appears to be stuck in the 70/80s decor-wise. The rooms were a bit on the small side but... More

The Simorgh is not a particulraly large hotel but the rooms are comfortable, the service is good and everything works! My bathroom however was very small and the TV had neither CNN or BBC (a broken satellite apparently). There is free internet 24hrs in a business centre on the 1st floor. The breakfast and lunch buffets in the rooftop restaurant... More

We chose to stay at Simorgh Hotel our last night in Iran. After a long trip across the country we wanted to have a "european-kind" hotel just to relax. Simorgh Hotel is a really luxurious place to stay. Nice and clean rooms, very helpful assistants and a really english-speaking reception made us love our last night in Persia. The hotel... More

The Simorgh is in a great location, with a lovely park just behind for a break (although the polution and altitude may get to you). service is excellent and one of the quickest I have received around the Middle East. Whilst the country does suffer due to the embargos there are things that the hotel could do slightly different that... More

I stayed 4 nights at this property in August 2007. I arrived very late the first night and was given a small and grubby room on the 3rd floor. The following morning I asked for a better room and I was given a much nicer/cleaner one next door. Wifi and the phone line didn't work there though, so I was... More

I stayed at Tehran's Simorgh Hotel on Valiasr Avenue in June 2005 and can recommend it. It's one of the top end hotels in Tehran, but don't expect a Shangri-La or Sheraton. It's professionally run, business-oriented, clean, well located. The staff speak English and are helpful. Rooms are good - the one I had was oddly-shaped and looked on to... More
