Firouzeh hotel is not necessarily the easiest to find, but that's because it's just off a main street, which helps to keep it nice and quiet. The owner is exceptionally friendly and helpful, even by Iranian standards! I had a very comfortable stay here, and would definitely stay again the next time I visit Tehran. Highly recommended, especially for the... More

Pro's - Good service, clean room, genuinely helpful staff, fairly central in the scheme of things, like the helpful sign to the alleyway on the main roadway, great storage area in basement which staff will help you carry your gear up and down from free of charge. Con's - website prices out of date, bedrooms bizarrely have showers but you... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at 500,000 R for a twin (shower in room, shared toilets) including breakfast (price on website out of date). It is not the best value for money compared to other hotels in Iran (and I suspect Tehran though I didn't look at other places) as the price is inflated due to it being the... More

Nothing too fancy but excellent value for money and safe. The location is superb close to the major sights. My brother, my friend and I stayed there last November and we all agree that Mr. Mousavi is THE perfect receptionist. He gave us loads of useful advices, booked the train for us to Mashad and was always there when we... More

I stayed 2 nights here while in Tehran after skiing at Dizin. Great location near the museum, and Golestan Palace. Mr.Mousavi is awesome and organised my taxi to and from Dizin ski resort at a very good price. And helped us with so much more!! I wouldnt of survived this trip without his help. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

In south Tehran, 15 min walk to the Goldestan Place, 5 min to the Imam Khomeini Sq. Mr. Mousavi is really helpful and will give you very good advice about the city and Iran. Breakfast is included. Wifi available (not free). Good value!

We stayed at Firouzeh Hotel for five nights in a twin room with shower and basin and paid IRR425,000/night (or around USD30). The hotel was full when we arrived so it would be worth booking ahead if you're travelling during the peak season. The hotel is a bit old – not unlike most hotels in Iran – but everything is... More

Firouzeh is a very famous hotel among those doing the backpacker's circuit in Iran. It's unmissable as most travelers inevitably make a stop at Tehran one time or another, Firouzeh is known primarily for its manager, Mr Mousavi Mr Mousavi is a treasure trove of info about Iran. He is fluent in English and happy to answer whatever questions people... More

Good location and very helpful and informative Mr. Mousavi (boss). I paid IRR 230,000 for a single room with shared toilet. I think it is a good money value. He also offer me IRR300,000 for a room with toilet and bath. I arrive midnight. He offer me airport pickup IRR300,000. I believe this is market price.
