I stayed here in March and April in one of the larger rooms that had a huge double bed, comfortable pillows, a supportive mattress and a very long working surface - ideal for pounding the laptop. The furniture in the room is functional. The TV channels cover a few Englsih speaking channels - CNN, BBC and a French broadcaster. There... More

Breakfast is good, served from 6am to 10am. Rooms are clean but a bit old. Bed is normal Pillows too high. I had difficulty to sleep also because of the air to dry during the night... Bad point: - I organized a pickup service from the hotel for my customer that must arrive at midnight. Customer went out from the... More

Hotel Al Mutlaq is situated on King Abdul Aziz Road/ Old Airport Road with a 45 km ride from the International airport. Al Mutlaq is a hotel with over 300 spacious rooms. I stayed in a fully carpetted "singles" room which was quite big with a good sized bed and wonderfully comfortable mattresses and pillows and enough space in the... More

I have stayed in this hotel several times in the past and each time it gets a little better for business needs. This time wireless internet was included in the room at no charge. Prieviously, it was on a card system where you bought .....( won't go into that !). Much better and easier now. Service is good and there... More

I've been staying here for many years. Gets better. Free wi-fi in the rooms. Still good value. What really scores is the staff - always helpful, proficient, and friendly. Always been that way, and many of the staff have been at the hotel for many years - which counts. Food's OK, not that good, but not expensive. The names of... More

I had reviewed this hotel earlier, as i am a regular visitor, and i can honestly say that they have shown serious signs of improvement and listening to customers. They have made the following additions: 1. They provide free internet wireless in all rooms now 2. They provide free water bottles 3. They provide a lot of amenities 4. The... More

Stopped here for 4 days on business Found it OK, service was good, staff attentive - price was good Not a "Honeymoon Luxury Hotel" - its a working hotel - sort of a Travelodge Arabian style. Expect nothing, cheap price and you will find it good value for money. Have their own taxi service (ChaCha) and I found it first... More

I went there for a business trip for Saudi Telecom Company. The stay was long. Initially I stayed at the Hotel Al Mutlaq in Feb/Mar 2004, later in Aug/Sep 2004. They also have a excellent appartment where I stayed for almost 15 months. About the Hotel, it was great. The rooms are spacious, nice ambience, loaded with all amenities. The... More

Basin sink wont work fully ... (ofcourse you need only once a day..!). Water thro the shower is dangerous- suddently very hot... More
