We had to stay at this 'hotel' for 2 nights, the room was filthy, the bed looked liked the previous occupant had just left iyt, the food was awful, coffee (when availible) cold, the teabags were expected to make 2 cups, we had no hot water in the shower after 9pm Theis place could really do with a revamp and... I am confused by some of the previous reviews, it is as if there are two hotels with the same name. This was the worst hotel on our tour bt luckily we had only one night. The room was a good size but it was cold, the air con was blowing out cold air and the carpet was stained. Furnishings... More

We stayed for 2 nights on our way back to the airport from Petra. Front desk service was OK and lobby was quite nice. Upstairs where the rooms are it's run down with worn carpet and it stinks of cigarette smoke, as do the rooms. They do not appear to have non smoking rooms as we requested. We moved to... More

Booked the hotel after reading the great reviews about the great service of the hotel. The only thing that ruined or spooky the holiday was the noise from the ground floor;music till 4am in the morning plus some renovation/extension works to the hotel around 9am.Just bring your ear plugs or get some nap whilst you are on the tour coach/van.

The rooms vary a bit so try to get one that is a little larger. For five nights I didn't have a hair dryer, but when I returned three days later, the second room had one as well as a much larger bathroom. They were willing to store luggage for me. Thank you! I'm not sure what would be considered... More

I am a travel agent and I'm just returning from a trip to Jordan where I had an opportunity to stay at the Liwan Hotel in Amman for 4 nights. After having a disappointing experience with my prepaid tour provider, the staff at the Liwan Hotel saved the day. They connected me with a very professional tour company which made... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were very impressed by the newly renovated bathrooms. The room itself was quiet and comfortable. The in-room refrigerator door fell off but was fixed before we returned form dinner. Teh staff was very helpful. The location of this hotel is wonderful for shopping (a block from the al-Barack aka Barack Obama... More

10 of us aged in 60's stayed in this hotel at both the start and finish of our week in Jordan. The rooms varied considerable and some were better than others. It was impossible to have a shower without ending up with a flood on the floor and others had awkward shaped baths to try and stand in to have... More

I would have to say that I really loved the hotel. The people there are very courteous and treated me with respect. The hotel was very clean and the coffee was delicious! Despite what one may feel about traveling alone as a woman, I felt very safe. I would stay again in a heartbeat....
