Looks very luxurious, lobby nice, our room was very large and shower excellent. Quite far from downtown however taxi ride is only 4JD.

Stayed here for 3 nights total on an educational from the UK. The rooms were clean and a good size no complaints there. The buffet breakfast is huge and had a different variety every day along with the standard staple items you expect in Jordan. The only nag I had was that the waiters in the restaurant were very insistent... More

This hotel will not afford you any knowledge of the city - it is not close to the downtown area, nor does it have anything near it to make it easier to tolerate the lack of city perspective. The hotel came as part of a package with a tour we took so there was not much we could do since... More

Basic facilities in the rooms are available but do not expect anything further than that. Received complimentary bottle of drinking water after much hue & cry. No tea/kettle arrangment in the room for travellers who come long distance from international locations. No access to internet. Clean and tidy sleeping place. Not for family to hang out for lunch/dinner/breakfast.

I stayed at the Al-Fanar for two nights. The bed linen was crisp and clean. The lights were suitably dimmed. The flat screen was not a monstrous eyesore. There were plenty of free shampoo and shower gels in the bathroom vaunting a luxurious veneer. The hotel staff were pretty friendly but not exceedingly. At times there was a lot of... More

Like a lot of reviewers of this hotel have mentioned, this is the start and finish point on an Exodus trip and whilst it works well for that situation, it would not be a place I would choose for a trip to Amman. On the plus side the staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast has plenty of choice and the... More

We started and finished our wonderful Exodus trip at this hotel and couldnt fault the lovely staff - always keen to help us and make sure our stay was really good. They kept our room available until 2pm on the check-out day and looked after our luggage until our flight in the evening which was kind. The reception area was... More

Our room was spacious and clean (spotless actually). Very comfortable indeed. Its a local hotel so dry (no bar) which was fine for us, but if you want somewhere to relax at the end of your day, this hotel doesn't provide it. Staff were very helpful and polite, we only ate breakfast there, but that was fine - certainly adequate.... More

stayed here 3 nights at start and end of an organised trip to Jordan. If you like to have a bit of local colour rather than international hotel chain uniformity this is good for you. Rooms very spacious, clean, comfortable. They arranged adjoining rooms for us with kids, with door direct from one room to other. Food fine for breakfast,... More
