We arrived and checked in at this hotel about 10pm, all of us were very tired. We booked a room (a suite like) so it can fit a double bed and a single bed, giving a bit privacy for each other. However, the receptionist gave us a double bed room and squeezed a single bed in. We later found out... More

About this Hotel, there is no reason to say something like 'don't ever stay there.' If you just need a sedate enough place for a short stay, the Rum Waleed is ok. There is good free wifi in room and cambio, and commerical area and plenty restaurant options right outside the door. Including some for breakfast, which you will need... More

Upon our arrival in Jordan, we were booked into the The Larsa Hotel for 2 nights we forgot to extend our stay and were given the option to book with their sister hotel The Al Waleed hotel. Thankfully so as the Larsa hotel was situated just outside 8th circle and located no where close to any amenities. The Al Waleed... More

This hotel was pretty awful. We stayed here for 4 nights, and I can safely say I would never come back. The good bits: - Free wifi in the rooms - Good quiet location, near a pedestrian mall. About 1-2 Dhs taxi ride from the main city. The bad bits: - Breakfast was extremely average. We went to a number... More

We booked the hotel via email...good prompt response from them. We had some trouble finding the hotel inspite of directions but gave a sigh of relief when we saw it. It s a three star hotel with mostly business guests. Impeccable clean and spacious room. The front office staff help us with taxi bookings at a reasonable rate. The hotel... More

Hotel was booked as part of tour with Desert Horizons tour company. The hotel is located about 8 km from downtown in a fairly upscale part of Amman. The hotel was clean and the staff were especially friendly and helpful. Nazir Masarweh assisted us at every turn and seemed genuinely interested in our happiness. There are a n umber of... More

On my first trip to Jordan, I selected the Al Waleed Hotel in Amman. It was definitely a good choice. On arrival, Mr. Nazir Masarweh at the reception desk made my friend and me feel like special guests. After a long night and day of traveling, it was so refreshing to be welcomed so graciously. Mr. Masarweh was always quick... More

We stayed here on the first 2 nights of our visit to Jordan and then the last night before we left. We had a very large room (king sized bed) with a good sized bathroom. Although the furniture and decor was a bit tired and the mattress very firm, the room and the whole hotel was extremely clean and the... More

As far as hotels go this is a basic tourist hotel no coffee or tea making facilities and very little water pressure for the showers. We stayed 2 nights one at each end of our tour of Jordan. Breakfast is basic although on the first visit we did have a fellow cook an omelette as long as you only wanted... More

I stayed here for a quick stop in Amman at the end of a visit to Jordan. The hotel is around the 6th/7th circle and adjacent to a modern street with all the usual international stores but then a huge maze of great local shops selling just about everything. The hotel was clean, friendly and we had a nice room... More
