We stayed two nights here at the start and end of our trip. The owners obviously spend their efforts on the restaurants (Italian/Sushi/American food) but not so much on the rooms. The quoted price of the rooms increased by 20% due to local taxes -which is odd because it didnt happen in any other of the places we stayed in.... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of our travels around Jordan and Israel and I have to say we were so pleasantly surprised by the truly great standard of this "4* star hotel - the service was great, the food was amazing and the rooms and staff were great too. We could not fault anything about this... More

We spend an enjoyable 2 nights at the Al Qasr Metropole Hotel in Amman in April 2012. We were checked in by our tour guide, which made everything easy. As soon as we alighted from our vehicle, the hotel porters were on hand to take our luggage and put them through the security scanners then, after checking in, they were... More

Pleasant hotel in a nice neighbourhood easy to walk around at night. Great views from the balcony Only downside was that we were on the 6th floor underneath the restaurant and there was no soundproofing so every chair scrape or dropped cutlery we could hear with gusto.

Situated in the trendy, if a little soulless western Amman, this hotel offers a slight less corporate feel that other nearby hotels and competes on quality and price with them manfully. That isn't to say that it's cheap, it isn't, rather, Amman is expensive. Rooms are conservatively decorated but pristine and tasteful. The rooftop sushi resteraunt is an excellent way... More

We spent a total of 5 nights here on a recent trip to Jordan and it was a perfect home base for touring. The airport-style security surprised us at first but we got used to it. The rooms are small but they have everything you need. There is a minibar and two boxes of Kleenex. The set menu in the... More

This hotel is severely lacking in basic comforts: 1. No pool 2. No coffee or tea in room (no coffee pot or kettle) 3. Room service delivered tea - in a cup! No pot! for equivalent of $3 4. Inconvenient location 5. Breakfast - we had to gather cutlery from other tables; disorganized. Too much open food, susceptible to too... More

We stayed here for two nights in April 2012 and found the hotel to be exactly as we expected. We stayed in 2 superior balcony rooms on the fifth floor which whilst not enormous was clean and very peaceful. Mohammed at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous and service around the hotel was generally good. The restaurant Vinagrette... More

When we were late for our flight home from Jordan and had to wait two days for the next available flight. I phoned around a few hotels in Amman, and found the manager Mohammed on the front desk to be kind, accommodating and just extremely helpful. After I explained our situation to him a first he said we would have... More
