Recently returned from a two-week stay at the Prima Royale Hotel in Jerusalem. Central location, good dining in-house and nearby restaurants. We stayed here for a week over Passover. Excellent location, on a quiet side street right off Keren Hayesod (right near the pricier Dan Panorama and Inbal). NICE staff and they try to make their guests happy. The rooms are tight.. but that is pretty much the way they are in all the Jerusalem Hotels. The breakfast is fine and they kindly offer water and juice complimentary in the afternoon. All in all this is well valued.

The walking distance to Jaffa gate and the Old City is about 15-20 minutes, which is very convenient. The hotel staff was friendly and the room standard OK, but not remarkable.

We stayed here as part of a Gate 1 tour. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast buffet was well above average for Israeli hotels. Our room had 2 single beds moved together. They were comfortable and the room was fine. Hotel is a little dated.
