I arrived in the morning around 09:00, so too early to go to my room, but I was still able to check in, and was offered a complimentary breakfast - now that's hospitality. My room was just right, and at the end of the day, just needed somewhere to rest after all the walking around Jerusalem. The staff on the... more

This hotel was a bit hard to find but the new rooms have been tastefully revamped. It was very clean and the hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of thier way to make our stay comfortable. The morning breakfast buffet was made fresh and delicious. Although this hotel is small it made a huge impression on... more

My husband and I were in Jerusalem for a few days and needed a centrally located hotel that wasn't overpriced and Hotel Palatin was the perfect place to stay for us. Jerusalem has plenty to offer and all we needed was a nice bed and bathroom, a nice breakfast and some tourist information. We really liked the bathroom. It made... more

Where to start. The rooms are extremely small - think of them as closets. The bathroom is so small you have to back up to use the toilet. The shower is so tiny that the shower curtain wraps itself around your body while trying to use. Very frustrating. The street is noisy all night - I mean ALL night, with... more

I stayed 4 nights in the Palatin hotel. The staff at the hotel is very helpful and friendly. There is no elevator, but staff will help you carry your luggage if you request. Rooms are small and basic but very clean. However, I hope you don't come to Jerusalem to sit in your hotel room. This hotel is reasonably priced.... more

Perfect little budget hotel, reasonably close to the Old City, with good connections to the newer parts. But unsuitable for anyone with mobility difficulties (e.g. elderly, disabled) as there is no lift and quite a few stairs. Staff and owner very helpful. more

Very friendly front desk, great location and rate make this is fine hotel for a trip to Jerusalem. I agree with those who complained that the room and bath are very small. I enjoyed my stay, but when we returned to Jerusalem at the end of the trip, we picked a different place. more

By Jerusalem standards, the Palatin is very reasonably priced. If you want Western luxury, you have to pay big bucks in this city, but you don't come to Jerusalem to sit in your hotel room. It has a quiet location ideal for Ben Yehuda Street and the Old City. The staff are very friendly and helpful and, after I complained... more

I used everyone else's comments to steer me to The Palatin and want to add to their good comments. If you want a hotel with greedy bellmen, wash cloths folded into swans every day, room service, valet parking and a 24 hour cafe then there are plenty of them around, just not this one. The Palatin is better! The staff... more

I am an adult female, stayed here with my teenaged daughter for a week. The hotel is small, quiet and family owned with a certain charm. Our room was very small with two single beds, but refurbished, comfortable, tiled and clean-- we actually grew to like it's cozyness. Besides, we were just sleeping there with so much to do and... more
