I wrote a scathing review of this hotel which Trip advisor posted ,to be fair the management saw fit ( I suspect having read the review )to refund all monies we spent . This went along way to ameliorate the situation as previously described. Thanks Trip Advisor .

We just loved staying at this hotel. The staff was knowledgeable and always ready to help, the room was clean and quite, the bed comfortable (king size in North American terms) and we enjoyed a very distinct “Jerusalem” atmosphere (stone walls, elaborate curtains, perspective towards the walls or the old city). We visited in the winter time and we were... More

Do not stay at this hotel it is terrible. The list of complaints is simply too long to go into or indeed to particularise. Despite it's wonderful location ie meters from the New Gate the Old City this place has really blown it. The staff with one sole exception ( George) are a bunch of rude incompetents who feel they... The Knight's Palace is a great place to stay if you want to be surrounded by the history of Jerusalem from the moment you wake up. The building is hundreds of years old and has a lot of history itself. I am very happy we decided to stay within the Old City - the Knight's Palace is one of the... More

This little jewel, although pricy, is located in the Christian quarter of the old city. As soon as you enter, you can let your imagination run free. The hallways and the rooms inspire historical curiosity. Our charming room was ideal for our three nights and the breakfast buffet offered just what you needed for the hours of walking through the... Location : Located inside the old city, Knights Palace is within easy access from New Gate and Jaffa Gate. My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Knights Palace. The hotel building is completely in character with its setting inside the walls of the Old City. Our room was beautiful, clean, and came with free wifi. The staff were very helpful and didn't mind when we woke them up after coming home late at night from a wedding.... More

We spent our first two nights in the Old City in the Gloria hotel, which has the same owner. They were full, so we moved to the Knights Palace and they assured us that they had a good room for us. We were pleased to have a large family room for the 3 of us, which had 4 beds and... More

The Knights Palace is a beautiful, long standing building with antique art and furniture along its walls. It has a beautiful courtyard filled with flowers and olive trees and tables where you can eat outside and enjoy the singing of birdsthat. The courtyard is also cradled by the 700 hundred year old walls of Jerusalem built by a Turkish king... More

Staying in the Old City is a wonderful experience. The architecture of the hotel is part of many centuries and is very fascinating. The rooms are very nice (unless you have a room near the welcome desk - very loud at times), and the food is VERY good. The meeting areas and courtyard are also very nice. The internet is... More
