Whilst possibly not the most glamorous hotel you could book it was well managed and very very hospitable. The manager and staff were ever helpful without being pushy, in fact when a better room became available at short notice we were offered it at no extra cost. We recently stayed at the Apex Historic Hotel for five nights, and appreciated finding it on tripadvisor.com. The location is perfect for exploring Istanbul, and the neighborhood was charming, friendly, and felt very safe. The staff was very helpful, breakfast was lovely, and the room was quite comfortable. Nice Turkish boutique Hotel ( seems like there are dozens of these today!) in a good area within walking distance to the major tourist sights. There are manynhotels that have the same amenities and location as this hotel but, what set this hotel is the service. the people working at this hotel are top notch. more
