We spent two weekend at this hotel. Very excellent location but extremely NOISY. Air condition was't working, as we open the window to have some cold air...but couldn't sleep by the loud noise! Big Room, Comfortable Bed, Reasonable room rate. Breakfast is excellent, Lots of choices! No internet in the room.
This hotel sits in the middle of a main nightlfe area, so there is lots of external noise - people and music until 4 or 5am - and it is loud. On the otherhand, there are bars and discos right opposite the hotel, so it's a good base if that's what you're after. Staff were friendly and helpful.
VERY loud, stayed 4 nights, never could sleep before 1 a.m. or later due to noise from the read underneath (and I am talking about Disco munic...)
Person at the desk very impolite. No way to get even an easy information about a restaurant address.

We had a great experience at this hotel, esp. after leaving one with a luke warm shower [for 2 days straight].
Rooms and beds are extremely clean; good shower pressure and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
Location is in Taxim and in particular, the Nevizade district of fabulous fish restaurants; approximately a block from Istaklal.
