I have stayed in this hotel several times on business and nothing changes. The breakfast is excellent but that is about it. The rooms are not 5 star - basic, hard beds, no much selection for English TV, and expensive for amenties. The resturant is so so. There are many better hotels to stay at while in Istanbul . more

We are staying here for a week-long on-site conference (conducted in English), and have had several odd and frustrating experiences with the staff. This is a typical 5* arab hotel: in an european standard, this is a normal 4* - rooms are OK, service is bad, food is average... One major lack is the fact that most personnel (including reception desk) don't speak anything but turkish... the worst thing to mention about this hotel is the staff being so impolite and unfriendly,the service is not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. the security check at the hotel entrance makes you feel like a criminal and not a guest!!!! more
