This hotel is just a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Agha Sofia and the Grand Bazaar. I had a corner room which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant, though not terribly helpful at times. If i can make one suggestion - if you stay here, don't miss the view from the upstairs restaurant at night.... more

We stayed for just 3 nights in this lovely city. The Arcadia was perfectly placed for walking to most of the most interesting places. The views from the roof terrace at breakfast over the city roofscape and minarets of the Blue Mosque to the sea were unrivalled. At first sight our corner room [better than the other rooms] looked dull... more

It located on a great place, you can visit Blue Mosque and Ayasophia easily. If you want, take a walk for 10~20 minutes, you can see Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazzar and Spicy Market. If you want to go further, don't worry, there is a station near by, the trainway can take you to eveywhere. Besides, it has a great view,... more

In" hardware", this is a nice hotel, but in" soft ware", it should work harder! Can you believe it? When we went upstairs to eat breakfast, those waiters play computer games( it seems like talking on MSN is more important than serving customers), when one of our group members( a girl) sat alone, a waiter( I don't know his name,... more

Hotel Arcadia definitely did not have the greatest rooms, but the location was great. We were on the 5th floor and had a great view of the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. The rooms are a little shabby and worn, but the location and views make up for it. The hotel staff was more then helpful, and it was a... more

My room was located on the sixth floor with an incredible view, especially in the evening when the Blue Mosque and the Hagya Sophia were lighted. The size of the room was ok, the cleaning also; the bathroom had some hydraulic problems. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, the quality of the coffee excellent, the view even better than from the... more

This hotel offered a location that puts you in walking distance to sites, but is also a quiet area. The price we paid was about 70 euros a night. The breakfast itself is nothing special really, just some breads, jams, and cakes to eat, but the view from the rooftop breakfast room is great. . We were mistakedly placed in... more

We have been several times at Arcadia Hotel. In fact it has become "our hotel" in Istanbul. Location is second to none at walking distance to most of the main attractions. The view from the terrace-restaurant, overlooking the Blue Mosque and Agia Sophia is worth the stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can order the transfer from/to the airport... more

I stayed in this hotel with a group of friends in February 2009 and was really pleased with it. The location is fantastic, the hotel was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful and the level of English was sufficient at all times. The views from the rooms on the front of the hotel and... more

I was a group leader for 22 people that stayed at the Arcadia Hotel in January 2009. My group was made up mostly of very well traveled people that average 35 years of age. We were booked through our tour operator so I had no direct dealings with the hotel prior to our arrival. We were originally booked at the... more
