My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms were small but clean. The hotel has a beautiful, private courtyard where we ate our breakfast. The rooftop bar/restaurant was fabulous. Best view of the sea and Blue Mosque. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We would stay in this hotel again.

The Sarnic Hotel in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul is centrally located. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast offers an array of yummy fresh fruit and local foods. I was not impressed with the room. The first was in the hotel 'well' no outlook. Obviously I complained and was assured that I would be moved by the hotel... More

The hotel has very well decorated rooms, and it's placed in Sultanahmet Area.. close to many atractions, a block away from Arasta Bazaar. The stuff was very nice. They price was fair, but the location is priceless!

We arrived very early the first morning because of our flight and were greeted very warmly by the night manager. Our room was not ready (as we had expected) so we were offered some tea and our suitcases were kept safe for us while we went for a stroll. We were amazed to see how well situated this hotel is.... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Sarnic (Sar-nich) is located in the middle of old Istanbul, just blocks from the Blue Mosque and the cistern for which the hotel is named. The staff is so-so on English, but be patient and they will do cartwheels for you. The reviewer who said consider the Premier for the lift was correct: The... More

A very pleasant hotel, well placed for Istanbuls attractions and restaurants. The rooms are a decent size, very clean, staff very helpful, also cheap transfers to Ataturk airport. Would recomend for short stays

I was really looking forward to staying at Sanic Hotel after reading other TripAdvisor reviews. The hotel is a lovely older building and the location was great - so convenient to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and other attractions. The staff are helpful and friendly. I was a little disappointed by the room. The bathroom had broken fixtures and I... More

We had a week in Istanbul and the Sarnic Hotel was absolutely perfect for our needs. Walking distance to all of the sights and easy access to the the tramway for trips further afield. Wonderful staff and a great breakfast. The rooftop bar is a nice place to spend an hour with a nice cold beer after a days walking.Only... More

I stayed in the Sarnic Hotel located in the historic part of Istanbul (Sultanahmet). The hotel is 2 min walk from the Blue Mosque/Haig Sophia near the Arasta Bazzar. The rooms are a bit small and offered a little less privacy. You can literally hear whatever the sound from the next room. The street in the front is quite busy... More
