Stayed one night at Side Pension in April 2012. Was difficult to get there from Metro as there was a lot of construction work going on around Sultanhmet. Man at front desk spoke good enough English. Just spent 4 days here again. This place is by far and away the best place to stay in Sultanahmet bar the four seasons. The rooms are a reasonable size for the price. The price is right and this place is spotless. Breakfasts are a bit meagre.... but so be it..

We booked from Australia on line, originally 3 but gradually added bookings to 7. Each change was no problem, replies were courteous and efficient. Our daughter from England was met at the airport and transported to the hotel. I originally booked a room without a bathroom (trying to save money). Upon arrival I was upgraded to a room with a bathroom without any additional charges. The staff are very friendly and are always willing to assist with a smile. The hotel is very clean and has beautiful views. The location is really unbeatable!
