I stayed at this hotel for one night when I visited Istanbul for 7 days last March. I actually stayed at three different hotels due to schedule mix-up and an overbooking (which was the other hotel's fault anyways) so I think I have a fair comparison to make among the three. First of all, the location of this hotel is... More

We were very happy with this choice and would recommend it to any familly. The rooms are quite lovely. Location (old city), facilities, atmosphere, staff and food were very good quality, we simply could not have asked for a more enjoyable holiday with our kids. Staff are always there willing to help and always have a smile on their faces.... More

The best thing about this hotel is, of course, the location. It's right in the heart of Sultanahmet. My first impression of my room was surprise at how light it was for being a basement room. It was quite small, but that wasn't an issue for me as a single traveler. Things kinda went downhill from there. The room had... More

This hotel is in the best location possible. It is very close to the Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia (both are incredible). It is also very close to the tram (use it, it's quick and cheap) but far enough away that you don't hear it. The staff is very friendly and eager to please. Housekeeping even folded my pajamas that... More

This is a new hotel with great location. Very near to all the attractions esp. Aya Sofya, Sultanahmet mosque and Grand Bazaar which are accessible less than 5 minutes by walk. Ayasultan is situated behind the main street which makes it less noisy than those hotels on the main street. The rooms are simple and nicely decorated with good quality... More

This hotel, was in the best location ever. It is really walking distance to everything in the Sultanhamet area. Free internet is a plus. The negatives, paper thin walls and poor breakfast selection and quantities. Stairs are somewhat/dangerous as the taper off and become narrow closer the center anchor, they are spiral stairs. The elevator was out for two days... More

I have been to Istanbul a few times and I always end up using the same hotel, but this time around they were fully booked. Luckily I found another hotel, Ayasultan nearby and they were excellent. They made me feel right at home and gave me the same rate as the other hotel which helped my budgeting. This is place... More

After arriving in Istanbul i became very lost looking for my accommodation and came across the Ayasultan Hotel. There i met an employee named Selauk and asked him for directions (to my accommodation). Selauk was very helpful and took excellent care of me while I was at the Ayasultan Hotel, showing me directions as to where I needed to go... More
