Small hotel in Taksim area which is a great place to stay. Walking distance everywhere. We had a deluxe room, which is split level. Nice layout, but there is nowhere to hang your coat as you walk in. Not enough light, especially if you want to read. The 2 bathrooms are nice but a bit pointless and waist of space. The wardrobe... More

I have stayed there, last year 2011 and the hotel is nice with good rooms very good bathroom. The problem is that the windows in the back rooms facing the British Embassy do not open which is the worst part. The location of this hotel is also very good, near the pedestrian street and the Taksim place.

Small hotel but in a very good position. Very close to Istiklal St and Taksim. One down thing about it is that I stayed in a room where I couldn't open the windows. They are locked. Breakfast is very good and has varieties of food. Staff were friendly and have good knowledge of tourist attractions.

I stayed with my wife and two teenagers at Miapera in March 2012 and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is situated the Taksim/Beyoglu area so there is vibrant nightlife all around, while the hotel itself was on a very quiet street. We enjoyed the location because, unlike Sultanahmet, it was filled with locals and not simply a tourist area.... More

At the first view, this hotel is charming and warm. It Is in a small street a block BEHIND THE GREAT & BUSY WALKROAD OF ISTINKLAL (10 walk to TAKSIM SQR). Most of the rooms are quite small but comfortable and have nice bathrooms with large Duch. Duble bed is small and wardrobe is quite small. Breakfast can be good... More

This boutique hotel in Beyoglu (a few steps away from the main shopping street (Istiklal) and near Taksim) is extremely conveniently located in Beyoglu. Its rooms are nicely modern, spacious, clean, and surprisingly quite. The breakfast buffet offers a broad variety of Turkish and international food and is quite tasty. We found this hotel a very good choice because the... More

Stayed in the Miapera hotel, Istanbul for 2 nights. Although spotlessly clean and well located, the overall experience is disappointing. My room (601) was very small. Just a bed and a long corridor. Nothing like the photos. Also outdoor window filthy. Couldn't get a table for breakfast as room overcrowded. Staff at reception curt and with little customer service skills.... More

I stay here regularly on business. The location is perfect for tourism (being close to Taksim Square) and transport links are close at hand. During the winter I've been able to negotiate great rates, but I'm not sure if once the season begins to warm up, I'll be able to continue to stay here as it will be outside my... More
