When we arrived, it was raining. The staff went out and got us umbrellas so we could walk outside. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary tea, coffee and pastries in the afternoon. The breakfast was terrific and the location couldn't be better. The room was a very comfortable size with our own turkish bath in... More

Deserves a top rating. Staff bent over backwards to be of service. In response to my inquiry, owner recommended a classical music concert in New Town that was profound. Room was clean, comfortable, roomy, and finely finished. Breakfast was the best we had in Turkey. Free tea and pastries in the early evening. Onsite restaurant. Location close to the major... More

My wife and I visited Hotel Seraglio for the second time in the past year. It is undoubtedly the best small hotel we have ever stayed in. Having over 30 years in the hospitality industry, I would say I am more critical and harder to please than the average guest. With that being said, I have NOTHING to criticize at... More

Excellent location, very nice and helpfull staff, clean and everything well cared for. Breakfast is very good and there is a small bistro to have a tea or even a full dinner. Only drawback: The room door provide very little protection against noise from the staircase.

All the good reviews here for this hotel are spot on. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was big and clean, and the shower pressure really good. Breakfast was good with lots of choice, and the hotel's wonderfully placed for the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Cistern, with plenty of places to eat very nearby (try Dubb Ethnic for... More

My daughter and I arrived at the Seraglio hotel after a long flight from India. First of all the journey from the airport really surprised us as there were flowers on the banks of the roads all purple and yellow and everywhere was so clean. The journey was by the ocean a really lovely sight. When we arrived at Seraglio... More

First time to Istanbul you must first decide. North or South of the Golden Horn? Old town or New town? We like to take a mid afternoon break in our room so it was a no brainier. Old town and Seraglio. All the must sees are in Sultanhamet. Flawless and free airport transfer (IST not SAW) to the hotel. Cold... More

We started our trip to Turkey at Seraglio and it was the perfect introduction to our 11-day stay. We haven't traveled much internationally and I didn't know what to expect, but the staff put us at ease right away and we instantly fell in love with Istanbul. They are really exceptional, giving us daily advice for getting to our destinations.... More
