When we arrived the reception attendant (about 17yrs old) ignored us, then asked us if we wanted to check in...(eh yes we have arrive and have luggage here etc), he then continued to clean pictures on the wall and ignore us until he decided to say do you have passports, a very poor and slow checkin experience. We were taken... More

The hotel is close to the main attractions, the room was small but cosy and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. You can use Wi-Fi in the lounge for free. Though there is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

I have stayed here for one night on a biz trip. The room is small but nice, simple hotel overall. The breakfast is on the roof terrace, good with big choice.

ERBIL HOTEL My husband and I stay at this hotel before and after our group tour. It is in prefect location to restaurants, shops and walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya , Topkapi Palace and the Spice Market. The hotel is old but décor suits the style of the city. The rooms are small but relatively clean and... More

We stayed at the Erbil Hotel as part of a group tour. We were there for one night. The hotel staff were fine at check in, but the English was not as good as at some of the other hotels. The room was very basic and very small. The air conditioning worked so the room was quiet with the windows... More

I did not enjoy this Hotel. The room I stayed in was small, the bathroom was average, breakfast did not have the best selection and the dinner they provided was not very good- don't have dinner there, go across the road! The reception staff could also have been a little friendlier. They do have free Internet and its location is... More

-stayed there 4 nights with my girlfriend in october -located very central, grand bazaar 4 minutes walk, blue mosque 3 minutes walk, tramway station "Gülhane" 3 minutes walk -nervewracking restaurants in the street with waiters trying to "win" you for their restaurant, try to circle the street and enter from the "not tramway" side (Ankara Cd)! -bathroom was very very... Just 5 minutes walking from Gulhane park with Topkapi Palace and Archeologic Museum on it's territory, 8 minutes from Hagia Sophia, 10 minutes from Sultanahmet Mosque. Turn the corner to get the tram. Bunch of cafe and restaurants around (Pasazade restaurant is great, no pushy staff outside, calm Ottoman konak-styled place and tasty meal). BUT. Take ear plugs or be... More
