Very friendly staff, decent sized 4 person dorm. The room was clean and had a large bathroom. Modern bunk beds that actually slept pretty well. Although the breakfast was lacking, the value for Euro19 was good.

Location is great -- just the same place as many other hotels (Cankurtaran).
Staff was great: we received very good information about the city (and the hostel, of course) upon arrival. Guys at the bar at night were always very kind, and the bar was a cool place to a nightcap.
Room was small but good enough. I also checked...

Room was clean and very small, overlooking the street with geraniums in the window boxes. The attached bathroom was moldy and damp and small. It would have been ok if it didn't cost so much but hotels in Sultanahamet are expensive, overpriced but you pay to be in that area. Great location for walking to all of the sites. Breakfast...

The Antique hostal is very good place to stay in Istambul. The localization is perfect, near Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Aya Sophia. The street is very quiet during the night, very beautiful and there is a mini-market that sell everything that you need. The street behind hostal is crowded with different restaurants and bars with a lot of people. However,...

Good value in ideal location for Old Town sightseeing. Very decent beds and linens for the price. Terrace restaurant has nice views to the sea. Front desk clerk (fellow with glasses and very short hair) was very testy when I asked a dumb tourist question; took me aback 'cause Istanbul was so very friendly in general.

The place is near Sultanahmet and Aya Sofya, 3 minutes by walk. The small room for 2 persons is really very small. But family room is bigger and for 2 persons is ok. The shower is ok, but could be a little bit repaired. And it's also would be good to have rug in the bathroom.
The breakfast is poor:...

Very nice hostel for the best price we saw in Sultanamet. Staff were really nice and helpful and the rooftop terrace was a great place to stay out of the rain one afternoon. The breakfast was great and the dinners were really good value. Would definitely recommend this hostel to other hostels we stayed in the area.

ROOM:
We stayed in a double ensuite on the 1st floor. The room was literally the size of a double bed. Besides a small closet, there was no other furniture in the room. We had no where to sit or put our belongings, besides on the floor! Overall, the room and furnishing were old and seemed dirty. We ended up...
