Good value in ideal location for Old Town sightseeing. Very decent beds and linens for the price. Terrace restaurant has nice views to the sea. Front desk clerk (fellow with glasses and very short hair) was very testy when I asked a dumb tourist question; took me aback 'cause Istanbul was so very friendly in general.

Very nice hostel for the best price we saw in Sultanamet. Staff were really nice and helpful and the rooftop terrace was a great place to stay out of the rain one afternoon. The breakfast was great and the dinners were really good value. Would definitely recommend this hostel to other hostels we stayed in the area.
