Great location, juat a few minutes away from the old center, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Perfect for budget travelers that just need a clean and relatively quiet place to sleep. Besides this, you shouldn't expect too much, considering the price paid... rooms are very small, bathroom a bit problematic and the internet connection functions very bad.

Pros: - good location Cons: - filthy bathrooms where the shower water got EVERYWHERE (no curtains), doors didn't lock - Staff were not very helpful when asked questions/recommendations/etc. They didn't go out of their way (like people in other places in Istanbul and Turkey) to give you the best experience. Not helpful at all. - Breakfast was not included for... More

I must say that my stay at Paris Hotel is a little biased by the friendliness of the manager, who gave us a very nice room at the top of the building with an amazing view to the Sea of Marmara on request, for we asked "We'd like a room with nice views" in the reservation form. Also, he even... More

I stayed during peak season in the west of the city and this was the cheapest option. The room was clean enough and the staff were great. The location is very, very good (being off the main roads but just a five minute walk from the Blue Mosque and from the nearest tram stop). There is a cafe directly across... More

Don't be fooled by the nice pictures, you would be safer sleeping in a bin rather than this hotel. The air conditioning unit drains on to the balcony thus covering the entire balcony in mould. The shower didn't work and when we finally managed to get a small trickle of water out of it. It was a brown colour and... More

A basic hostel, but it's clean and the beds are comfortable which is the most important thing. It's easy to socialise with other guests here, which is always a plus too. The price and location is very good.

We stayed here in a double private room for two nights. While the rooms are very tiny, there is pretty much only room for the bed and room to walk on to the deck, they were awesome value for money. Very centrally located to many big attractions and many great food places. We stayed on 6th floor. Was awesome view... More

Spent 6 nights here. At first I was kind of depressed, because it is VERY basic. No storage space in the bathroom, no hairdryer, and no shower walls. But it was clean and conveniently located in the old town. Plenty to eat for breakfast, and reception desk open 24x7. They even arranged a shuttle to pick us up from the... More

Just had to get used to waiting ten minutes for the hot water to come through. Staff very helpful, changed linen every other day. Good breakfast and close to trams, shops and tourist sights. We would go there again next time.

This place grew on me with time. My first room was on the 6th (top) floor (7th floor US). I had a great view out the window in my triple room. It was next to the beautiful common area on the top floor with a wonderful view of the Sea of Marmara. Water pressure was weak in that room and... More
