Nothing is missing in the room but it's just the basics. Don't expect anything more! No good views - rooms are narrow same as bathroom. Room service is good. Staff are helpful. No safe in the rooms .. If you wanna leave your valuable stuff, leave them at reception's safe. In brief, it's not recommended for honeymoon. It's good if... More

I was at the Grand Thair in august 2011 on my own, the place is clean and the staff is nice. The hotel is open till late in the night and is very close to the metro station. It is not in the city centre but is still quite close to it and in august it was a safe place... More

Me and my wife was there for U2 concert (6-th of September) We book the hotel from travel aganecy and stay there for 2 days. We pay 60 EUR per room/per day (for example on the reception the price for double room was 90 EUR). See what we tink about it: 1. For sure Grand Tahir is not 3* world... More

We were booked to stay in this hotel at the beg of April 2010, fully paid in advance. When we arrived, first the receptionist couldn't find our booking, then we were told that the room was being renovated and we were offered a room in a hotel a few yards away. We accepted this, being evening and no time to... More

When I arrived I was given the smallest room of the hotel (considering the size of it) but I managed to change it the next day. The beds were quite hard so I never slept very well there. Good thing was air conditioning. The hotel was clean and quiet. I was travelling across the sea every day so for me... More

This is a 3 star hotel, the rooms were not dusted or cleaned as we would have liked but apart from that we had no problems! Friendly staff but only basic English. Good location near to the Tram Way which links most of the tourist sights. They phoned & arranged the hamam & Orient House dinner & dance show, both... More

We stayed three days in Grand Tahir Hotel in the beginning of May. The best features of the hotel were location and the lobby. Hotel is near Aksaray tramstation and walking distance (1km) from Aksaray metrostation (easily accessed from Atatürk Airport). Breakfast was poor and room was really small. We stayed in twin bed room and I recommend to choose... More

I stayed here for 6 nights as a participant to the 5.World Water Forum. For starters, the room was small and shabby. The beds were small sized and not comfortable. Towels were old and not clean. There were only two towels for two persons. So I had to ask for two towels more but I was told that they ran... More
