But when I first stepped into the place, my arms were freeze in the half-raised position . I was on a budget trip so YMCA was the best value for money. With only 675 Sri Lanka Rupees (or 6USD) for a twin sharing bedroom, there's not much you can ask for, really! But it did deliver what they promised in the song "you can get yourself clean, you can have a good meal, you can do whatever you feel.." except the part where you can hang out with all the boys :p But I did see a group of people practicing traditional Sri Lankan martial arts. One of the things that surprises me (in a good way) was the room's balcony that overlook the Colombo World Trade Centre and BoC Tower! more
