good for solo traveler but it is overpriced. They charged me 22 USD for a ride from the airport to their guesthouse. While my current guesthouse, KHONGER picks you up for free and offers u a lot more services for free. Nassan doesn't have hot water 24 hours so if you need to take a shower early in the morning... The owner can be a bit pushy and it sometimes feels like she was only being nice to get good reviews. We did a tour with another company (which we booked before our accomodation) and on our return we were lectured about her driver needing to feed his kids and needing money...not very welcoming! Don't really feel like a lecture... More

I visited a couple of the others. UB Guesthouse was crowded and kind of dirty and dingy, though the folks working there were quite nice. But the difference between there and Nassan Guest House could not be greater. Nassans Guesthouse was spotlessly clean, very bright and well equipped. And Nassan herself, who runs the place is such a kind and... More

Our stay at Nassan's was very good and pleasant. She tries to be helpful at great lengths and you can see that it is to be the best-service provider of UB. she's a bit forgetful about money when it's her who has to pay soemthing back to you. And when negotiating tours, discuss what is included and what not. Driver's... More

I looked at several different budget places in Ulaan Baatar, and even stayed at two different places (the other being Khongor), and Nassan was by far the best. Nassan is a very nice, quiet-spoken woman, if a bit reserved, and her place is very quiet and clean, and centrally located. I also met a lot of really interesting backpackers there.... More

Stayed here on the recommendation of Dave at 'Dave's Bar' in Sukhbaatar Square and found it to be one of the best traveller 'guesthouses' we'd stayed at during our trip to Mongolia and central Asia. Nassam herself is extremely helpful and very friendly, arranging my taxi to the airport the following morning no problem at all. We stayed in a... More

My first visit to Mongolia was in July 2006 for nearly a month and I chose Nassan Guesthouse because of an article I'd read online in The Guardian newspaper about a Nassan 4x4 tour into the Gobi dessert. The tours I'd enquired about in the UK were all very expensive and I wanted to meet local Mongolians and experience Mongolia... More
