Room was a nice size and fairly clean although the trash hadn't been emptied in the bathroom and the drain was clogged. Not a big issue as it's not a four star place! Had the smallest room ever with fan (the AC did not work). The hot water did not get hot and there were mini bugs in the bath. The breakfast was one egg. Pass on this one. More

Prices seem to have risen since my Lonely Planet guide was published in 2010. However, for 55'000 kip I got breakfast, by far the best bed I have seen in Laos and a very clean dorm with clean bathroom and shower. Both staff and fellow guests have been very friendly. More

It's got the the 3 C's and definitely worth staying in -- You might need to climb some stairs with your bags but that's about the only negative thing I can say about this place. And, yeah -- some of the staff can be a bit unfriendly (but perhaps they're just a bit shy). More
