Vientiane is an odd city in that the accommodation is either overpriced or low value. Aroon Residence delivered good value at a low price in a reasonably central location. Clean specious room, good location, nice breakfast with fresh coffee. Great service too. Staff are nice and kind. I also like their solid wood furnitures. I and my colleague like all kinds of breakfasts they have to offer. The French breakfast bread is so impressive.

A very pleasant hotel to stay. The staff and especially Alex Raphone, the GM was very helpful n courteous. The hotel is well positioned, far away from traffic and noise usually associated with night activities (night market, park n pubs/bars) yet close enough to walk to such places and other tourist attractions.
