We were pleasantly surprised to find we had been upgraded from an Executive B to Executive A room which was huge, with a large desk area at one end, lounge suite at the other and windows on 3 sides. Because the room was so large it took a while to cool. The a/c was assisted by 2 ceiling fans but... More

My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights in Aroon Residence in early April, 2013. We had a Standard Double room which consisted of a comfortable bed (albeit 2 twins pushed together and no bedside tables), dressing table with chair, wardrobe (no safe), aircon, tv, fridge and an ensuite with separate shower cubicle. The room was comfortable and reasonably large. The... More

I had two reservations at the Aroon Residence. Unfortunately they could not accomodate me in the same room, so I had to move. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. The first room (a suite) allowed the AC to run during the day so the room wasn't stifling upon return in the evening. The second would not, and it took a... More

Have stayed in this hotel two separate times once in a standard and the other time in superior. Both times it was a nice comfortable stay. Difference between rooms were spaciousness and in superior you get a shower over a bathtub which was a nice option. You also get a mini fridge in both rooms which is handy. Nice hotel... More

We were quite suprised when we arrived at the Aroon to be honest. It was kind of weird actually, this very neat, palace looking place in somewhat of a bad area. We only stayed for a stop over but the service was great. Location was ok for what we needed and the rooms were tidy and very quiet with sufficient... More

Vientiane is an odd city in that the accommodation is either overpriced or low value. Aroon Residence delivered good value at a low price in a reasonably central location. Wifi Internet speed was sufficient for good skype voice calls, just make sure that your room isn't too far from the closest modem when you book. Alternatively, the lobby area is... More

Clean specious room, good location, nice breakfast with fresh coffee. Great service too. Staff are nice and kind. I also like their solid wood furnitures. I and my colleague like all kinds of breakfasts they have to offer. The French breakfast bread is so impressive.

We stayed in the Aroon Residence for one night in one of their superior rooms. The hotel and the room were very clean and quite spacious. Furnishing was okay and we enjoyed having a seperated shower cabin in the bathroom (still open on one end but you don't end up flooding the whole bathroom when taking a shower ;)...). Wifi... More

A very pleasant hotel to stay. The staff and especially Alex Raphone, the GM was very helpful n courteous. The hotel is well positioned, far away from traffic and noise usually associated with night activities (night market, park n pubs/bars) yet close enough to walk to such places and other tourist attractions. Definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay... More

The location is a little away from the centre of town and would be difficult to find without a driver or guide. It is close to a busy intersection but surprisingly quiet once you are inside the property. The staff are friendly and try their best to help which makes this a good choice guest house for Vientiane.
