Nice hotel. Spacious rooms if you are facing the opera, the rooms on the back side of the hotel are tiny. Great location (can walk everywhere). Not many non-smoking rooms (had to argue with the duty manager to get one even though my reservation stated non-smoking). This hotel excels in service. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The workout center is not incredible, but it more than meets most needs. Moreover, I partook of the sauna and a massage -- all very relaxing. The hotel is well located and near many good restaurants.

Would definitely recommend Hyatt Regency if on business in Bishkek or if travelling and want to splash out a bit. Very comfortable. No trouble whatsoever re the refurbishment that others have commented on - maybe it's finished. If not, very quiet and unobtrusive. Here for 3 weeks on business.
