Imperial Gardens was used as one of two hotels in Phnom Penh during the NGO Habitat for Humanity Mekong Build 2009 base hotels. We had many people from all over the world here. The lobby was used as one of Habitat's base. So it felt really busy and full of life. The rooms are really big and were clean/comfortable. It... more

I was in Phnom Penh for work and stayed here for five nights. Upon arrival I was tempted to change hotels but stayed put out of laziness. This is more of a hostel caliber hotel and definitely not a place I'd recommend for business. The first room I got was musty, the carpet smelled, and everything looked like it had... more

One of the largest breakfast buffés I've even seen! Otherwise the hotel is a little bit torn down and doesn't feel very charming. It's mostly a hotel for businessmen. It however is very clean and a big plus for the swimming pool. it's okay but you can find a more charming one for that amount of money more

We stayed at this hotel from 07-09 Feb 09 and were allocated a standard room. I am unable to give a room rate as it was booked by a travel agent under a tour package. Pros: - Good sized and clean room with decent amenties. - Responsive shower unit with temperature control - Breakfast has a good spread, the little... more

I´m split on how I feel about the Imperial Garden . The location was fine...it´s at the lower end of the riverside but away from the noise of the never ending traffic . On arrival the staff were polite but their english was rather limited . Our room was a good size but dispite paying for three adults we ended... more

Nice, modern hotel in a Great location next to the river. It has health facilities and a great pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only strange event I had was to be woken up by what seemed like screaming at 3am. A cricket had apparently come in the main door, climbed up the stairs and come into the... more

A very good 3 star hotel in an excellent location. Lovely views of the river from the rooms. The rooms themselves are totally fine and good value for money. If you want to go to the waterfront cafes it's only a 10 minute walk. There's a nice pool. Older or disabled travellers might be worried about the lack of a... more

We searched for a hotel for a business stay in Phnom Penh and made a booking direct with the Imperial Garden as the Cambodiana was full which we are now very happy about. We stayed for 10 days two of us in the condo style rooms and one in the main building. The rooms were lovely - really good size,... more
