Some bloody unattractive yank bought it from Rory, but it's still a good place for a beer. Away from the nuisances on the riverside, yet opposite the park and the palace. Great location and atmosphere.

Staff and location (10 min walk from the royal palace) are really great! The rooms are OK. However, compared to other guesthouses, they did not mention that there are no window in the room (to be fair, there is a window, but on an internal corridor), and therefore we felt it was a little bit expensive for what we got.

We stayed 2 nights and had a double room, ensuite with ac. the best thing about Rorys is the location, stroll across the road to the attractions. I am completely surprised at the previous review mentioning the "terrible food" as I totally disagree. The food at Rory's was excellent (breakfast and dinner) and they offer Khmer and Irish dishes. This guesthouse in Phonm Penh is in terrific location and very close to riverside. Walking along the riverside is excellant. All the pubs and nightclubs are along the riverside.
