This hotel had most of what we needed, OK rooms and a pool. The "fitness centre" was terrible, a few rusty machines and missing weights, and the food is also terrible but no problem as there are good restaurants nearby. Apart from that it was clean and everything seemed to work. Not bad for the price. more

I stayed at the Goldiana Hotel with my husband and 13 year old son. We had a great time in Cambodia, and enjoyed our stay at Goldiana Hotel. We liked the location, it was walking distance from the Royal Palace, the river, the central boulevard and central market. There is a big supermarket down on the main road which is... more

I had previously looked up on this site about this hotel so when I arrived on a group tour I wasn't shocked. The breakfast is not to write home about but overall the hotel was better than I had expected for the basic accomodation. Close to shops to buy the coffee or tea as you get a jug in the... more

The location is the only reason I stayed here on three occaisions. Apart from being close to where I had to work, it is in a quiet and pretty part of the city and is close to lots of smaller bars and good quality cafe's and restaurants. I have stayed in a three in different grades of rooms (one on... more

This was probably the worst hotel we stayed at during our one month trip. Since it was only for one night, I booked in a hurry without doing any proper research. The only good thing about the hotel was the location. There were lots of stores, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby. The room was really dated and felt dirty. The first... more

Stayed here in January 09 as part of a tour. Hotel is clean just very run down and in need of a major refurbishment. Air con in room did not work and lifts broke down every second day. The rooms are a good size and has a good size pool too. Staff do their best within their limited means. Breakfast... more

The Goldiana was a dark, tired hotel with out-dated decor, plenty of problems (some of them unforgiveable), but just the odd small saving grace. Our rooms were dreadful! On our second stay (we stayed there for one night, twice, on our holiday), our friends' room was unclean. And I mean really unclean. Suffice to say that the previous inmate had... more

I stayed in room 109 at the Goldiana Hotel in Phnom Penh from 3-7 January 2009 and was relieved of at least $400 in cash from my room or the luggage storage room (but more likely from my room). Someone working there helped himself or herself to my cash however deeply burrowed in my luggage. I had my cash in... more

The Goldiana Hotel sits aplomb in the heart of Boeng Koeng Kang (BKK), Phnom Penh's preferred residential district for expats and resident NGO's. It is this location which is one of The Goldiana's great strengths as the BKK area is a delightful part of Phnom Penh. With it's wide boulevards, and large villas it is noticeably more spacious and quieter... more

I came to work in Phnom Penh for almost 2 months, and unfortunately my employer chose the Goldiana (but stayed somewhere else himself, which tells you a lot.) Though the location is quite convenient, and the pool is a nice feature, the cons definitely outweigh the pros. Several members of our company had CASH STOLEN OUT OF THEIR ROOMS. The... more
