I dont normally right reviews but I felt this hotel was worth the effort. This hotel is in a fantastic location close to the museum and Royal Palace with views over the Mekong River. I would call this a boutique hotel with a fantastic bar/restaurant/cafe on its ground floor. The staff were very welcoming and professional and service was 5... More

I have stayed at the Amanjaya Hotel many times and I always look forward to my visits here. The hotel is small and does lack a swimming pool, but it makes up for this by having an excellent restaurant and wonderful roof top bar for evening drinks. The rooms are large and spacious, the bathrooms are spa-like and I have... More

This is a good hotel at a wonderful location. Lobby: there is nothing like lobby area here. You enter the hotel and the reception is 10 steps away. Location: very well located, in front of the river, practically everything available at walking distance - convenience store, bars, restaurants, massage. Rooms: very well appointed and spacious rooms with wooden flooring. Night... More

I have made numerous trips to phnom penh over the last 7 years and stayed at a variety of the better hotels and I have to say the amanjaya takes some beating , when I have stayed at Raffles you feel cut off from the hustle and bustle of the city, the amanjayas rooms and decor are vastly superior to... The first hotel I stayed in when I arrived in Cambodia was the Amanjaya. After three months of guesthouse living, I promised myself the last hotel I would stay in Cambodia would be the Amanjaya. I was not disappointed. Upon arrival on 26 April I was upgraded to the Panorama Suite on the third floor. The view is spectacular and... More

Ideally situated to explore Phnom Penh - next to the river, full of hustle and bustle - no the place for a quiet retreat. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional and the cocktail bar on the rood is a great place to end the day. We can thoroughly recommend room 22

We stayed 2 nights in the Amanjaya hotel in April. The location is great and all the important sites in Phnom Penh are in walking distance. I don't think that there are any better locations to stay in Phnom Penh. The hotel is good, though there is still a lot of room for improvement. I was hesitating between a 3... More

The room was spacious, clean and full of character. It had a small balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the river, temple and road but it was just too hot to want to sit outside. The air con was efficient and the room comfortable with easy chairs and a couch. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean. Although we... More

Stayed here in March 2012 and again in Feb 2013 for 4 nights. Some slight changes, so will spell out the pros and cons: +ves: Brilliant location for tourist sights eg palace 15 min walk, museum 10 mins, river cruise on the Mekong 10 mins, cafes are walkable eg metro, karma , FCC, cafe fresco , daughters of cambodia etc. Safe... A small but very nice hotel, set down by Elvet. The roof terrace is a must when you live in Phnom Phen. The room was very spacious, light and pleasant. Definitely a hotel I will stay next time in the capital. We found nothing and exposing the hotel. Do you have the opportunity, I will recommend and select one of... More
