This hotel is easy, practical, even fun. Staff are super friendly and know what a traveler needs. The owner, Jim, has been around Cambodia many years and is a treasure trove of information on the country. Can't beat the price for the location. Rooms are well designed, clean.

I've stayed here once about six months ago and every trip to Phnom Penh since I have stopped by for dinner at least once or twice per visit. Yeah, the food (American pub style) is that good. I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the California 2. Our host Jim was a wealth of knowledge, the staff very courteous and profession and the accommodations exceeded my expectations. Great location, excellent value and look forward to my next visit.

Great location on the riverside. Very close to the night market and riverside resturants. The rooms are clean and the staff very friendly. I always enjoy my stay at Cal 2 every year when i come to Phnom Penh.

California 2 is located on Sisowath Quay, in front of Riverside. Nice hotel within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. The $27 room was spacious, cozy, clean and comfortable with a flat screen TV.
