We were lucky to find this great place after a rather mediocre night in a somewhat dodgy hotel nearby. At the Blue Tongue we were offered a free room upgrade upon our arrival, which of course was a big plus. The room was nice and clean, with a comfy bed, AC, WiFi, a mini fridge, cable TV and private bathroom.... More

I stayed here with my partner while on a holiday to visit a friend working in Cambodia. The cab driver initially had difficulty finding the hotel as the entrance was nondescript and very subtle. However upon locating the hotel, man were we impressed. The lobby was spacious, modern-chic and very inviting. Immediately the hustle of tuk tuks outside the hotel... More

This hotel was excellent value for money. I stayed here for 2 nights with 2 friends, and we paid $45 for a triple room with three beds. The rooms was large and clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was decent. Breakfast was included and was very decent, while there is an on-site cafe which serves pretty good... Was slightly wary of booking this place based on how bad the bad reviews on tripadvisor were, but as a slightly precautious single female arriving in a town famed for sex tourists, I felt I wanted to be somewhere a bit 'nicer' than the backpacker ghetto by the lake but without having to pay a massive markup. Was pleasantly surprised... More

We stay 3 nights at the hotel after reading its review. It's central in phnom penh and in a walking distance to some restaurants in the area. The hotel was very clean, beds are quite comfortable. The hotel is very near the Royal Palace and Silver Pogoda area so you can take a walk to the places. We enjoyed our... More

Really great mid-range option in Phnom Penh. So much so that my wife and I stayed here each time on three separate visits to the city. Comfortable bed, good wifi connection, decent breakfast (a little on the small side, quantity-wise... the fruit plate is the best value), and friendly and helpful staff. It's walking-distance from the Tuol Sleng genocide museum,... More

Just spent 4 nights at the Blue Tongue. During the stay we were very happy with the hotel apart from the bizzare breakfast system. They offer you a menu card where you get toast as standard but you can only choose ONE item from the list. One of the items is butter! So, if you want a portion of butter... More

I spent 2 nights at this Hotel Very efficient friendly and helpful staff ... answered all my queries about Phnom Penh enabling me to get the most out of my short visit. I had a large double room, which was clean and quiet, except for the Air Conditioning which tended to be on the noisy side. Also regarding the Air... More

Good hotel - admidst the mayhem that Phnom Penh is. Very well run and staff very efficient, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast adequate. Rooms clean but stairs could be cleaned a little better. Location a bit unsafe at night though - streets badly lit. Picture on the website of entrance a bit misleading.
