The location was OK with a few shops/bars/restaurants around but realistically a tuk tuk ride to the river (and the tuk tuk man couldn't find it on the way home - even with the business card!). It seemed to be a nice hotel looking at their webpage but turned out to be totally uncosy, unpleasant place. Goldie looks pretty when you arrive. The front desk staff are nice enough and the lobby is lovely but as soon as you get past the lobby the hotel & rooms feels a bit like a prison.
