I spent 9 days in the Centrepoint Hotel and found the rooms quite rundown, however it is a budget hotel. Most early mornings I was awakened to the noise of the garbage disposal truck banginng for 15 minutes or more On weekends the carpark adjacent the hotel is occupied by Brunei Young people blowing off steam by blasting there car... We recently spent 4D/3N at The Centrepoint Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan in Brunei. The hotel was not real close to the 'downtown' waterfront area, but it was close to where my wife was working. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Our room was a good size. I was disappointed that the king-size bed was... More

The wi-fi is really annoying as it's crazy expensive and doesn't work plus you need to walk to reception to obtain a password before finding out it doesn't work... The rooms are fine if a little dated but the breakfasts are great and the staff wonderfully helpful. The Chinese Restaurant is very good and incredibly cheap plus there's a CoffeeBean... More

Stayed there on a business travel for 4 days. Location is superb - 15 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes to Brunei town. You won't need to go down to town since everything is already there. The Mall is just a 2 minute walk away and food is plenty - from Coffee Bean to Escapade to Thiam Hock to... More

The hotel is clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is outdated compared with international standards. If you travel for business the hotel is not close to the center and internet was really bad when I stayed there. The quality of the food (breakfast and inromm dining) was also below average. Finding a good restaurant in this area... More

Airport transfer was nice and helpful. Hotel close to Gadong night markets (great fun!) and next to lots of shops and a mall and an easy minibus ride (it's a big vague to figure out though) into Bandar and to major sights like the mosque. I think it's better to stay in Gadong than in Bandar itself (it's not too... More

I had read some reviews on tripadvisor so I wasn't expecting much. There was nothing wrong with this hotel and we enjoyed our 2 night stay there. We found the staff very friendly. The hotel is close to shops and cafes and we found a good restaurant close by. There was a group singing one night in the hotel dining... More

The hotel looks nothing special from the exterior. However, the rooms have recently been refurbished and are a total surprise; very comfortable. Spacious bathroom had both walk-in shower and separate bath. Housekeeping unimpressive but the rooms are kept sufficiently clean. No warmth or welcome from the Front Desk staff and they aren't helpful. Internet usage is shockingly expensive at The... More

Great location over a supermarket and next to a Mall. Nice room and great staff. City circle bus (purple) cost one Brunei dollar (about $0.80 AUD) to the city. The Royal Regalia Museum is a must but be prepared for a long walk whilst inside. This place is huge. BSB is a nice city (small but clean)) but do not... More

Hotel is old and tired with its deco time frozen in the eighties. The Thai restaurant, Season's, serves the same food for breakfast every morning and some leftovers are served during lunch. The food tastes nothing like Thai food at all. Front desk staff had no smile on their faces when interfacing with customers. Internet worked sporadically only. It seems... More
