A nice hotel in the centre of the city. Some problems with air conditioner were resolved fast.

I stayed in the Red Lion for about 11 hours having checked in at 2pm and getting picked up for a boat to the rig at 3am. I'm quite glad as I don't think I could last a few nights here! The Red Lion is located very close to the pedestrian shopping streets and the old city of Baku. The room we stayed in was good sized, with a sitting room and a bedroom as well as a balcony. My friend and I stayed one night at the Red Lion, which was booked for us by a friend in Baku. The air-conditioned rooms are large, with a nice sitting area and flat screen TV.
