This hotel is in a great location from the municipal beach. I got a single room with private bathroom for 9USD a night which is the cheapest so far in Vietnam and it was quite good for the price. The staff are also helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel in a good location. Close to the beach and many good restaurants. Elevators are very slow and seem to stop at floors for no reason. Rooms are adequate with a good view of the ocean. Bathroom needed updating and better lighting. Breakfast was just basic and a bit unorganized.

Great hostel/hotel in a good location about 5 minutes from the beach and about 3 minutes from the bars/restaurants etc. Staff were very helpful, kind and welcoming and would definitely recommend. Directions: If you are stood at the crossroads of Thien Thuat st & Biet Thu, you need to head in the direction of what looks as a dead end.... More

Booked over the phone got told $10 then upon arrival were told $11 with no other choice. At first glance the room looked fine, nice and spacious, reasonably clean , decent value for money but it did smell really bad. Mouldy, musky and like an old peoples home mixed with a morgue. I had planned to Skype family on arrival... More

We paid for three nights but only stayed one. We certainly didn't expect 5 star with the amount we paid but this hotel wasn't for us. The room was tiny and smelt musty, something you grow accustomed to in Asia because of the climate but this was particularly bad. We had no hot water which staff offered to fix but... More

For $10 a night this place was like luxury compared to some of the places we'd stayed in throughout SE Asia. As soon as we arrived the staff made us feel so welcome and we were able to pay when we had money, not straight away like some places we'd stayed in which was nice to feel trusted. The room... More

If...like us...you intend to shower once or twice, sleep for maybe 2/3 hours and simple have 4 walls to keep you stuff, then there isn't much wrong with this place. The actual room we had was fine, we had a room with 2 double beds between 4 of us, which cost $11 dollars for the whole thing... The only real... More

The staff were really helpful and the room was lovely- couldnt complain! The room was clean and everything worked as it should. When we were checking out the reception tried to charge us for water from the fridge but were fine when we told them we didnt drink it.

Very good value $10 for a big private double room, excellent location, with big windows, air con, tv, hot shower etc. The only downside, it is a hotel there is no place to meet any other travellers but you can do that at one of the nearby bars.

My boyfriend and I booked a 'deluxe' room at the Ruby hotel, which we didn't expect to be really deluxe due to the cheap price. All we wanted was some room, windows and AC. We chose this hotel due to good reviews on hostel bookers. When we got there, they put us up in this tiny, tiny room with no... More
