We traveled around Vietnam for about 15 days and experienced several hotels. This one was by far the worst. It's overall very disorganized, when we arrived (Sunday around 1 pm) no one could fix us a meal as the restaurants were not working. The location of the hotel is tucked away from most of the restaurants/eateries. Highly recommended if you like the quietness of the place. Highly discouraged if you are not into walking or taking public transport (out to rip you off especially if you are a tourist). Do not be turned off by the decor of the hotel. When I first arrived at the hotel it was a little scary as the outside of the hotel is bright green. I was not sure what to expect. The hotel was great. It is quite comfortable and clean. In between checking in and going to sleep I had showered... more

The Green Hotel in Hue was absolutely fine. We booked it the day before we arrived via Hostelbookers.com and our reservation was picked up fine by the staff, unlike other places we stayed in Vietnam. Location – about 70 metres from Hue train station, but a good 20-30 minutes walk from the sights of the Citadel and the eastern end... more
