The Festival Hotel has nice rooms, a pretty pool and friendly service. The breakfast buffet is sufficient and tasty. The only downside isthat the internet is too slow to use. Skip the massage at the hotel. more

Characterless hotel, about a 10 minute walk from town (and given the state of the pavements, make sure you have a torch with you so you don't trip and fall). There was nothing actually wrong with it - rooms fine and clean, breakfast average, staff helpful though a bit distracted - but it was big and boring. more

Luckily I checked in late at night and out first thing in the morning. Room was "tired" and in need of a revamp. Floor mats were filthy and the walls stained. The AC barely worked and so struggled to sleep in the heat. I asked for a pool-side view (as had been suggested to me) and the noise was minimal.... more
