Large beautiful rooms and modern bathrooms. We booked the Colonial suite with king bed and were upgraded to larger Morin Suite. Clean and comfortable with all amenities. Overlooked busy street and river view but noise was not a problem - though you might want to ask for pool view if you're sensitive to noise. Incredibly attentive and prompt service in... More

After our hotel in Hoi An we were looking for a good hotel. The Morin is listed as one of the best and after reading the history (it started in 1901 all be it a little smaller) we became interested. We got a good package deal with which we were entitled to one dinner in the hotel. The dinner was... More

We stayed here in January 2012. When we arrived we were upgraded to a gorgeous two room suite which is bigger than our house. The weather was really bad when we were ther so we enjoyed the luxury of the room. This hotel isnt pretending to be anything other than what it is. Built in 1900, colonial style big rooms... More

Excellent hotel, when we arrived we received an upgrade, no extra cost. Check-in was a breeze. The room was on the third floor, on the corner overlooking the river and a four way intersection, simply awesome! We were next to the VIP Room where visiting dignitaries such as Prime Ministers and Kings and Queens of Norway, Sweden, etc., have stayed.... More

Great hotel to stay, the old Emperor town from the best side. Location: close to the river, great views from the hotel bar to the bridge and the river. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is just great, nothing to complain about. There is a massage and spa section, with sauna as well. The outdoor pool looks... More

This was the largest and oldest hotel we stayed in during our three weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia and it was one of the most special. Ordinarily we pick smaller, more modest hotels, but we wanted to get a taste of French colonial and this hotel is it. It is large in every respect: lobby, court yard, rooms, baths. All... More

This is a beautiful old hotel, which is every well maintained and has helpful and friendly staff. As every has stated the rooms are large and comfortable, however due to the age of the hotel and the general humidty you get in Hue, there is a distinct mustiness to the rooms, which whilst not overpowering, can certainly be off putting.... As others have said, this a lovely old hotel that has been restored well. We had quite a large room and the bathroom had a separate shower and bath. There was free wi-fi in the room for using our Ipad. Our room was a long way from the lift - I guess this can be a draw-back of a hotel... More

Loveliest hotel of our two week trip through Vietnam. Still retains a real historical atmosphere - old photos on the walls, lovely wooden floor in our room & gorgeous wooden framed window you can actually open! Room was great, all the luxuries, spotless and spacious. Nice pool but a bit chilly in Dec! Good spread at breakfast. Staff were v.... More

Beautiful old colonial hotel opposite the Truong Tien bridge and walking distance from the Citadel and market (across the bridge and to the right) Pool tables, swimming pool and good dinner in the courtyard. We had a first floor Deluxe room (very big) overlooking the river so early morning traffic 'toot, toot' was a bit of an issue. More
