The Park Hyatt in Saigon is a very comfortable, luxurious hotel, and a safe choice in Saigon. It lives up to its 5 star rating and considering its a large chain hotel, offers an authentically Vietnamese hotel experience in Saigon, with its elegantly dressed girls in their long silk tunics at the desk, the lovely antiques and the soaring shutters... The best thing about the Park Hyatt is the landscaped gardens and pool area. We also stayed for 3 nights at the Intercontinental Asiana Saigon on the same trip, which was equally good in many ways - but not the pool area. The gardens and pool at the Park Hyatt are like this serene haven which allows you escape the... More

I booked both a hotel room and one of the smaller conference rooms to have a bridal shower in. The people who assisted me with my reservations were polite and professional. I did both reservations by phone/email and was completely impressed with every person I dealt with. The conference room was set up beautifully. All of the food and beverages... More

I just came back from Ho Chi Minh and started to write this review of the Park Hyatt Saigon.. I was trying to think what are the pros and cons... and to be honest I can't think of a single negative thing about this hotel... The staff are excellent - amazing friendly service and everyone spoke great english. The rooms... More

We stayed one night here in late Jan 2012. We originally booked the Park Suite King (US$590) but were upgraded to the Park Executive KIng Suite. Check-in was a breeze. The assistant manager showed us straight up to the room whilst the bellboy held open the lift as we were walking across the lobby. Room style was colonial. Free wi-fi.... More

Unfortunately, I can't echo the many excellent reviews. Yes, the hotel is very centrally located next to the Opera house and it is very stylish in French colonial style. That's about it, as regards positive commentaries. Other than that, it's just hugely overpriced. At the check-in, they firstly didn't recognize my HGP elite status (although I made the booking through... More

We stayed at the Park Hyatt two nights. We preferred its 'look' to more contemporary hotels because (even though I'm sure it was built recently) it has a colonial feel and fits in well with its surroundings. The location is excellent - round the corner is the City Hall and Opera House (if you can bear to cross the roads... More

We stayed 3 nights in January in connecting rooms (a rare find in Vietnam). The service was outstanding with the staff very attentive and helpful. The pool area is lovely and quiet and again the staff were great - we ended up there 3 days in a row after sightseeing and the staff remembered us and our drink orders, a... More

Very nice hotel with a bit of a colonial look, but not stuffy. very nice swimming pool area. the rooms are pleasants but the bathroom with only one sink is a bit cramped. The food ( and the design) at the Vietnames restaurant is fabulous but trully expensive ( our bill ended up at $100 per person). Good breakfast and... More
