Great friendly and helpful staff cant hide the fact that this hotel is old and very tired and in need of a serous refit. Breakfast was cold and horrible. Suggest you take your money elsewhere as there are many better hotels in this price range in HCM

Stayed here 2 nights. Very large room with sitting room. Some noise associated with rooms on the front of the hotel. Breakfast is ordinary and adequate, Internet is ok in the room but the internet room in the lobby has only two terminals and is a bit grotty. Front desk staff is friendly and polite. Good place to change money.... More

It is hard to review this hotel with lots of information due to it being part of a tour I did last year where I had stayed for one night in many hotels around the country.. but from what I remember, I quite enjoyed my stay here. It was in a good location and the sleep was comfortable. The rooms... More

Not a luxury but comfortable Hotel. In my opinion, a good location:easy access to Downtown,(30 min. Walk - or 10 min. Taxi or motorbike --Xe Om--) very good, (local cuisine not gourmet!) restaurants close by -- including the Hotel Restaurant. Breakfast as mentioned by other is good -- but mostly the same day after day -- if you stay for... More

The rooms in this hotel are very large compared to other hotels I have stayed in. Actually, even the standard room is a suite. Separate room with table, sofa, chair, desk, and refrigerator. I got a standard room. The view was non-existent but who cares. Since I was staying for 11 nights, I requested a tub. There is an individual... More

The suite we had was kind of shabby (as is the hotel itself) but there were pluses for us. We stayed at the Chancery for the last 3 days of our trip and it was a great place to spread out our stuff, rearrange, and pack. For us this is important. Lots of times we have been in pretty rooms... More

FYI - This hotel is not a Best Western. It now calls itself the Chancery Saigon Hotel. I stayed 3 nights in room #505, a tired and worn room with nicks and dings on walls and doors, carpet & bedspread need replacing. It was a suite but strangely divided - a very big bedroom, small living area crowded with furniture,... More

All rooms in this hotel are suits- very spacious and clean. Decor is a bit dated. Rooms to the side and back are quiet. Breakfast was good, and free WiFi a great plus! Close to the War museum, but to walk to the main maket will take about 20min.

Across the street from a nice park, easy walk to Beh Tranh Market and other areas... Location about all it has going for it. Rooms old and Shabby, Bathrooms about the same. No pool. Poor breakfast. Awful coffee, which is hard to do in Vietnam... Wi Fi incredibly slow at times if able to connect at all. Would not stay... More

Was surprised when I stepped inside, as I was expecting something more up-to-date based on the website photos I had seen. Inside, it looks like an older hotel and smells like an older hotel. Dings on the walls, flooring, carpets. Nothing fancy at all about the interiors; management definitely didn't go all out on the decor. Still, it provided what... More
