A lovely and welcoming family with good English skills runs this place. The rooms are clean, have cold AC, and a fridge. The location is great in District 1. The wifi is fast, but if you don't have a computer there are two for your use. Excellent all around.

Friendly family, recent (it's only a year old) and very clean rooms in the backpacker area. The owner and the grandmother speak very good English. There are two computers for use. Excellent value for money, you won't get a better double room for 16$.

I stayed at the Mai Guest House in HCMC for three nights. Everything around the hotel is noisy and crazy but inside it's quite peaceful and friendly. The staff are welcoming, friendly and trustworthy. Rooms are clean and the Wifi works well. They do a cheap laundry service too!
