We can't speak highly enough about the Ava Saigon; a really nice hotel, just a couple minutes away from one of HCM's main markets. Staff went above and beyond to help us and recommend things for us to do.

We made a reservation 3 days ahead and they had given the room away when we arrived so we didn't have a room. The lady working the desk was not pleasant about it.

the hotel is located close to Benh Thanh Market and the Reunification Palace (5 mins walking). the area is a very busy area.. hotel facilities and room is good but not very spacey.. even the elevator is small (not for claustrophobic person).. all the staffs are very helpfull..
