We reserved a deluxe garden view for USD50/night, inclusive of breakfast for 2. What we got was a room on the top floor with a view of rooftops that held laundry, plant pots and generally terrible scenery. I thought that Vietnamese gardens were pretty. What a joke. Noisy in the morning, A/C not working properly, ratty towels, breakfast that was... More

Clean and newly renovated rooms though a little small. Clean toilet with bathtub and rain shower! Friendly staff who are always smiling. However breakfast quality is lower than average.

We initially booked a superior garden view for 3 night in March by email. It took me a few emails and a few days to get a response. But when we arrived that evening, the room was not available and we were given the room 222 which was at the back and just next to the building site which woke... More

Smack behind the Ben Thanh market in the city center, this hotel was clean, safe, easy to find and the service was great. Breakfast was not a highlight of our nights there but easily fixed with a short walk to Fanny's ice cream parlor :) around the corner.

Great little hotel. Busy location but rooms at back are very quiet. But terrible breakfast In a city full of fresh baguettes why do the serve plastic sliced bread and it was the only hotel we stayed in that didnt serve beautiful fruit for breakfast. A simple change would make all the difference.

Staying in this hotel with my friend just only 1nite. The hotel less than a minute walk from Benh Tanh Market. We had booked Standard No Window. The room even though small but quite clean & the bed is very comfortable. What I liked the most is their bathroom & the amenities-unique & splendid!

Halo Hotel is now my prefered hotel in HCMC. It is family run, neat clean and very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionists have great senses of humour and have helped me out many times with advice etc. Breakfast is only average as it is always in Vietnam in 2 star places. It is very central, safe, friendlt and cost... More

Stayed here for two nights before moving upcountry. We love this location near the market and in the hustle and bustle area of boutiques, salons, and restaurants. The deluxe room was clean, comfortable and cheery (the mattress was a bit hard). The staff were helpful and accommodating. We paid $US45 which we felt was a little high in this area.... More

This is a lovely, small hotel in the middle of Than Bhann market square. The location is very central but surprisingly, serene & peaceful! The staff are friendly and helpful. However, rooms may be slightly small, but the service makes up for it. After all, who's gonna hide in the room the whole day when there is so much to... More

I was visiting HCMC as part of my South East Asia trip... and I booked this hotel based on the reviews (on other websites as well as Trips Advisor) as I wanted something cheap but yet clean and close to the main attractions. How cute was this hotel? I love the fact that it was so close to Ben Thanh... More
