We booked 3 nights for a double room with bathroom, room 503. The views in the evening over the Quan 1 & District 1, are enviable. 14€ / pn. As with most HCMC hotels, there is always the offer of tours and trips. We had already sorted trips for a cheaper price with https://www.thesinhtourist.vn .DON'T use the other 'SIHN' travel... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days with a friend. I chose this place because of the good reviews given to it by fellow Pinoy travellers. It did not disappoint. We arrived in HCMC very early in the morning and the taxi we've requested was right outside the airport patiently waiting for us. Chi who was assigned during night... More

We stayed three nights here and found everything to be as expected and researched. No surprises, easy to be understood and helped in English and were given good sugestions, ideas and advice. Rooms were clean, tidy and everything in working order, a bit small but quiet at night and in the AM. We were on the back side on the... More

The Nguyen Khang Hotel is well located in the backpacker district down an alleyway of hotels away from the noise of the main roads (scooter horns blaring...) The hotel is clean, tidy, modern and spacious with breakfast served on the ground floor and reception on the first. The hosts were all friendly and helpful, arranging both tours and transport tickets.... More

If you don't mind a long walk up a million flights of stairs (you're in SE Asia, get used to it!), then this place is great for the budget traveller. This was the only hotel we booked in advance as we were flying into HCMC at 8pm, and it was still only approx. $12 per night. The hotel emailed me... More

In the middle of the backpacker's/tourist area but away from the crowd and the noise, perfect location in my mind. The hotel arranged for our pick-up at the airport at $10 per person, a good deal i think considering that we arrived around 3 a.m. we checked-in before 4am. Chi, the night reception staff met us at the hotel...he was... More

This hotel improved my Saigon experience, the hotel was initially full when i turned up here so ended up in somewhere not quite so nice and was struggling with Saigon after coming from sleepy Mui Ne. The staff here are very nice and helpful and immediately Thu brightened my day. The guy on the night shift is nice too but... More

This budget hotel (1*) in the heart of Ho Chi Minh was recommended by a friend. Given the cheap rates, my sister and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Staff--They speak good English so you can ask them for help on almost about anything. They arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport ($15) since our... More

We booked only 2 hours prior to flying into Ho Chi Minh from Dalat, and the Nguyen Khang was the only place with available rooms. We even received an airport pickup for $10 at 9pm. Situated in the heart of the backpackers/tourist area, so everything you need is only a few minutes walk away. Very easy to meet people too.... More

I've been coming to Saigon fairly often and usually stay in the Pham Ngu Lao area because it's cheap. That being said, I've put up with some dirty guest houses around the area. In fact, before my wife made me find a nicer guest house, I was perfectly fine staying in the filthy ones because I thought that's just what... More
