We stayed here for three nights. All three mornings my partner and I woke up to construction. The first morning it was a power saw, i called down to reception to tell the workers to hold off til a respectable hour (it was 7:45). The next morning it was hammering at 8:15 and the third it was plumbing work 8:00.... More

We stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour too. Our room was small - the smallest we experienced in our trip thoughout Vietnam and Cambodia. As soon as we walked in we there was an overwhelming smell of cigarettes smoke. We rang reception and their response was that they have a no smoking policy! We wondered why as there... More

Hotel room was average however building work in hotel started way too early at 7.30am and the lift was often busy carrying stuff for the builders which would be ok but there was only 1 lift and I was on the 7th floor. This would have been all fine but the breakfast was the main issue with hotel. Cleanliness and... More

I stayed here with part of an Intrepid original tour. The room was quite large with an extremely comfortable bed. The staff were polite and lovely and its located in a nice 'quiet' street amongst the havoc enriched Siagon. However, on closer inspection there were loose (and I'm assuming love) wires sticking out from the wall near the top and... More

Ugly room with bizarre shaft behind closet from which various noises emanated all night. Constuction went on on the floor above for entire duration of our stay and the workers dumped sand and miscellaneous junk right outside our door. Will stay away from this place if ever in town again.

Our first impression after arriving form Cambodia was at last a roomy almost modern hotel. We were so wrong! Very heavy building work above 701 all day, and drilling and banging throughout the night outside. The one lift continuously used by the building workers. Bathroom needed a good clean. Heavy rain shower resulted in black slime covering bathroom floor from... More

Part of an Intrepid Tour, Polite staff. unfortunately probably due to circumstances beyond the tour control, allocated the room on the 9th floor and the lift only went to the 8th floor, next to the Laundry, but when we spoke to them about their noise they were then quiet for all our time there, but we did lose a very... We stayed here for three nights in April. The room was pretty ghastly (601) and on the first floor. No window, sheets with holes in and no working aircon (despite repeated requests to fix). We were also right above the kitchen and the smell of cooking started at 5am and the accompanying shouting all contributed to a short night's sleep.... More

We spent 5 nights here - the first night in a standard room, which was pretty small and claustrophobic, for $25, and the remainder of the time in a standard-deluxe room, which was $30 but we negotiated $27 a night. It was definitely worth the extra $2 for the larger room! Rooms are adequately furnished, beds are comfortable, good pillows,... More
