No major issues with this hotel except for the price ($25 in Jan), stayed longer than I would have otherwise due to dramas with my supposed travel buddies followed by a bout of food poisoning. The room was clean enough (after spending 2 months in china) but had a bed bug problem (not as big an issue as I'd bought... More

Noticing a trend - we were also recommended the hotel by the airport information after they told us everything would be full - which was obviously not true after seeing how many hotels Hanoi has to offer! Pacific Prince is in SERIOUS need of renovations and at $28 per night it is seriously overpriced, but having said that, they organised... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights after airport staff recommended it and organised a taxi to the door for us, meaning we avoided all the taxi/hotel touts at Hanoi airport. The hotel is central to the old quarter, the cathedral and the lake and is in a safe street with lots of Vietnamese places to eat nearby. The... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during a 3 day trip to Hanoi. It was recommended to us by the travel agency at the airport. We were shown a very nice brochure and for $18 USD (special promotional price) we couldn't really be too fussy. The hotel was quite old, the staff did not speak very good english and trying... More

Luckily we arrived late and departed very early so were only in the room for 8 - 10 hrs. The bed spreads were filthy the walls dirty and the bathroom walls had holes and patches all over. The whole place looked as though it was well past it's use by date. The only redeaming feature was the breakfast, it was... More

We stayed in this hotel reccommeded by the agency at the airport. The pipes at the bathroom were very noisey and so we were kept awake many times during the night. Even though we complained, they didn't want to change the room claiming that the hotel was fully packed!! The towels were dirty, we found a cockarache on the bedroom's... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. 1st night, the room had to have its toilets pumped with excrement everywhere in the toilet. The whole room stank due to this. They refused to give us another room saying that they were all booked out. After the 3rd complaint they "suddenly" had a free room. Checking out of the hotel,... More

We had a room booked for us at this hotel by the Tourist Information desk at Hanoi Noi Bai airport, and paid $30 per night for a double room. For that money you should be expecting quite a luxurious hotel in Vietnam. The hotel is well located, at the western end of the old quarter. Walk out the door of... More
